bSkilled

bSkilled is a web application that uses open badges to communicate skills and achievements. On bSkilled, a user can issue a badge which can be verified by an employer, a teacher, an organization,... This badge is a symbol of an accomplishment, packed with verifiable data and evidence that can be shared across the web. As a proof of concept, our oSoc18 team is making an oSoc18 badge. In the future new badges will be added as bSkilled is developed further.

bSkilled is a very valuable project: it can help people who, due to circumstances, could not benefit from the regular education system. With bSkilled, they can prove they have a valuable set of skills and that they are a valuable addition to the workforce.
